Expanding Snapraid

    I have 4x4TB drives using unionfs and Snapraid. If I want to add storage am I correct in thinking I'd have to buy two bigger drives as the parity drive has to be the biggest?

    Parity should always be the biggest drive. If you buy two more 4TB drives, you don't need to make the parity drive bigger.

    Sorry I didn't explain myself properly - if I only have four drive slots would I need to replace two of the 4TBs with bigger drives?
