    I have installed OMV 4 on a empty computer, not updated OMV from er earlier version.


    The version of mdadm use in OMV is v3.4 from 28th January 2016.

mdadm - v3.4 - 28th January 2016


    The latest version of mdadm is 4.x


    Is it not important to use the latest version of mdadm?


    Any way to update mdadm to mdadm version 4.x in OMV?

    Why? The version in Debian is declared stable. Unless you are constantly importing a raid array from a system that has a new version, I don't see why it would be needed.

    Update to OMV 5.x which uses 4.1.
