Docker installation error (you have held broken packages)

  • Hello
After trying to install Docker (on a 32 bit system) I get 'You have held broken packages" error.
I have had this before on another computer, and a 64 bit OS fixed it but now I can't cause the CPU is 32 bit ;(

    Thanks your answers
    Best regards
    Matt

You will have to use docker.io package from the debian backports with OMV 5.x and setup containers manually. There are no 32 bit docker packages in the docker repo or debian 9 (omv 4) repo.

Upgrading OMV is enough or should I reinstall it?

Unless you are very comfortable with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu specifically), I would re-install.
