error in upgrade to OMV 5.1.2-1/5.1.3-1

  • Hallo to everybody, I wrote already some days ago... but unfortunately I was not able to fix the issue.
During a update (trough the std interface) I receive the message error:
    ..
    ..
WARNING ] /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/salt/utils/decorators/signature.py:31: DeprecationWarning: `formatargspec` is deprecated since Python 3.5. Use

`signature` and the `Signature` object directly

/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/salt/utils/path.py:265: DeprecationWarning: Using or importing the ABCs from 'collections' instead of from 'collections.abc' is

deprecated, and in 3.8 it will stop working
    if not isinstance(exes, collections.Iterable):
dpkg: error processing package openmediavault (--configure):
installed openmediavault package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
    Errors were encountered while processing:
    openmediavault
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The problem is related to the step:
    dpkg --configure openmediavault

apt -f upgrade did not help to resolve the problem

Any idea how to solve it?

Looks like it is probably failing to configure monit. So, try

    omv-salt deploy run monit

That's not possible in this case because root is hardcoded in /etc/monit/conf.d/openmediavault-filesystem.conf. The only reason for getting the error Service name conflict, rootfs already defined '/' is that there is a duplicate of this file.
