Trash folder is missing

The trash folder is not in the shared folders. Where is the basket located? How to fix?

You have to enable it in the SMB/CIFS settings. It´s then located in '.recycle'.

The trash bin folder is activated in the settings.

Did you delete anything already? The '.recycle'-folder is created in the root of a share only when something is deleted.

If you are on Windows it might be that you have to enable hidden folders and files in the folder options of Explorer first.

Openmediavault is installed on Vmvare ESXi 6.0, two folders are shared, but in the root of the folders there is no '.recycle'-folder at all. Each folder also has access via FTP. This is probably some kind of bug?

Hidden folders are not visible from under Filezilla via sftp under the root and are not visible through Windows.

Thanks! A trash bin appeared, it was necessary to set the rights to the folder recursively.
