I tried your method, and KM0201's method too, but same error.

Did you try it w/o the volumes?
yeah.
I dunno, I have no logical explanation.
me neither
I tried to install Prometheus at a diff't directory, but encountered the same error.
This is weird.
yeah.
please post more info about your filesystem.
do you use ZFS?
Do you use UnionFS?.
Is your referenced path a symlink ?
I’m using UnionFS with Snapraid.
No sym link.
The Docker dir is on the OS drive.
ok, some times UnionFS have problems like this, to be sure, try to use a single disk and configure dockers & config files of dockers in a fixed disk not in a UnionFS device.
My Docker dir is installed on a single disk, non UFS.
I found a solution, it’s Grafana ownership issue when the container start up.
My Pihole has the same issue, and I think this solution may fix it too.
Run this in the shell, then fix files ownership/permissions for the appropriate files.
Next, stop the container and fill in any needed variables for it.
docker run -ti --user root --volume "/data/docker/grafana/data:/var/lib/grafana" --entrypoint bash grafana/grafana:latest
# then within the container, run:
chown -R root:root /etc/grafana
chmod -R a+r /etc/grafana
chown -R grafana:grafana
/var/lib/grafana
chown -R grafana:grafana /usr/share/grafana

Thanks for the help everybody.
