Using NFS mount points as shared points

  • Hello everyone,

I have what might be a stupid question, but I haven't been able to find the answer in the forum so far.
I have to NFS drives mounted on the OMV machine as follows :

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    udev 3.8G 0 3.8G 0% /dev
    tmpfs 779M 8.5M 771M 2% /run
    /dev/sda1 24G 1.7G 21G 8% /
    tmpfs 3.9G 12K 3.9G 1% /dev/shm
    tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
    tmpfs 3.9G 0 3.9G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
    tmpfs 3.9G 8.0K 3.9G 1% /tmp
    192.168.1.77:/mnt/freenas_drive1 2.0T 80M 1.9T 1% /mnt/freenas_drive1
    192.168.1.77:/mnt/freenas_drive2 1.7T 76M 1.6T 1% /mnt/freenas_drive2

I would like to used /mnt/freenas_drive1 and /mnt/freenas_drive2 as share points. Is this possible?
For the curious ones, OMV is running as a VM on the same machine (proxmox) that NFS exports the drives.

    Thanks
    Patrick

You need to use the remotemounts plugin. OMV can't use any mountpoint that it didn't mount.

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

omv-extras.org plugins source code and issue tracker - github - changelogs
