I used my OMV for about 3 Years ocassionally on a 64GB SSD in the NAS.
We use 5 PC's /Notebooks . All works fine , only two Win10 with problems .
SMB V1.0 must be activated which is a secure problem.
.
Now therefore I will upgrade to 4.1.32
For testing I will unplug in the NAS the SSD and plug in a 250GB HDD and
install OMV 4.1.32 there.
If there are any other problems I will again activate the SSD w th old OMV 2.2.4
and hope to continue where I went out.
Can I remove the SSD without :
1. Unmount all drives ?
2. Shared folders --> reset all permissions ?
3. SMB / CIF shares -- disable ?
or what must (!) I do and note ?
If all is working perfect I will clone the HD with OMV 4.1.32 to the SSD.
