Today I updated OMV on my Armbian Rock64 Buster build from 5.2.6 to 5.2.7. While upgrading via the web gui I got an error message regarding pidfile and rpcdbind and that I should look into syslog.
So I did
dmesg | grep -i pid
and found this:
[ 0.001133] pid_max: default: 32768 minimum: 301
[ 42.073913] systemd[1]: /lib/systemd/system/smbd.service:9: PIDFile= references path below legacy directory /var/run/, updating /var/run/samba/smbd.pid → /run/samba/smbd.pid; please update the unit file accordingly.
[ 42.110828] systemd[1]: /lib/systemd/system/nmbd.service:9: PIDFile= references path below legacy directory /var/run/, updating /var/run/samba/nmbd.pid → /run/samba/nmbd.pid; please update the unit file accordingly.
[ 42.134168] systemd[1]: /lib/systemd/system/rpc-statd.service:13: PIDFile= references path below legacy directory /var/run/, updating /var/run/rpc.statd.pid → /run/rpc.statd.pid; please update the unit file accordingly.
[ 42.802577] systemd-journald[427]: Received request to flush runtime journal from PID 1
Did I something wrong? Do I have to update those services by changing all /var/run paths to /run ?
