Remote Mount cannot add Shared Folders

  • I have setup OMV 5 (I don't think its' beta anymore correct?) on a Pi4 with an SSD attached to USB. All this seems to be working fine.
On my network, a computer has a WD MyPassport 4TB drive attached by USB. It has a shared folder so all computers on the network can access it.

I created a Remote Mount and it appears mounted. Clicking on File Systems it lists my SSD and the WD MyPassport 4TB drive and says it is mounted and Referenced and Online.

I next try to add a Shared Folder by clicking Add. When I click on Add, the window appears where I should select a device. If I click Select a device... or do nothing and sit for maybe 2 seconds, an Error window pops up saying Invalid RPC response. Please check the syslog for more information.

    Syslog reports this:

Feb 6 07:02:58 raspberrypi omv-engined[13296]: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function getImpl() on null in /usr/share/php/openmediavault/system/filesystem/filesystem.inc:898

    Feb 6 07:02:58 raspberrypi omv-engined[13296]: thrown in /usr/share/php/openmediavault/system/filesystem/filesystem.inc on line 898

Once this happens, even clicking on Edit on one of my current shares will pop up the Error dialog. The only way to get this to stop is by unmounting the Remote Mount I created.
Any ideas how to keep the Remote Mount and create a Shared Folder on it?

    Thanks!
