    • Building a Nas with this

      Hi,

Im brand new here so I hope I choose the right section.
My synology 412+ is getting to its end so I am thinking about building a NAS myself with my "old" pc.

For that I need software and my google journey brought me here. My main whises are:
      *PLex server for streaming*
      *Auto download via nzb
*Great storage support like SSD's (the hardware is supporting it)
*Apply to sync foto's and docs witht he cloud mainly with MS Onedrive.

Is all of this possible and easy to build? Im also new to lynux so all is realy new to me. Ofc I can buy a brand new Synology but I see this as a challenge.

Hope you guyz can point me in the correct direction.

You can use Plex in Docker

OMV is based on Debian. So no problem with support of SSD, HDD or USB Thumb drives.

      also Docker (e.g. Duplicati)

So, seems this is all possible (and much more). If it is easy depends on you. You need to learn a bit about Docker and how to set them up.
