Can't see the server...

    Hi guys!


    I have a big problem, i hope u guys will help me.. so the problem:


    I installed OMV and i enable SMB/CIFS, then create a shared folder, have a user ... etc, BUT i CAN'T SEE the server via the clients....
    At the server settings: Services//SMB/CIFS/Settings ---> General Settings: The workgroup name is : WORKGROUP .. at the clients is the same: WORKGROUP


    Any idea?

    Unplug your router and switches for 10 seconds. Maybe they are hung up. It happens.


    Steps
    create shared folder
    share the folder via smb/cifs
    give users privileges on the shared folder @ /access rights management/shared folders then on the right click on folder to highlight and then click on privileges.
    make sure service discovery has a check mark at /system/network then on the right service discovery TAB/ then below in SMB/CIFS in the web-gui.


    Also, try rebooting server and client machines.
