coming from nas4free and freeness

    Same here. So far I have been very pleased. I last used FreeNAS several years ago, but outgrew the system it was installed on and never made a new one. Decided I wanted a NAS again, and discovered that the FreeNAS I knew was no more. Tried using it anyway, but was disappointed with the results. On a brighter note, so far OMV has met me needs and then some!

    It still alive though it is because iXsystems own the brand freenas.
    So not it is called nas4free and still the same but on freebsd 9.1


    I have to say openmediavault and nas4free is the ones i use for different jobs
