Hi,
I already have an Dlink dns-320 (buuuuuu.. i know i know...) but here is my new project ... Tada!
Sexy no? ...
I think about i3/celeron 4Go 2Tox2 ... Should be very ok! Of course Omv inside!

Are those the one that are sold in taobao? If is, don't buy them, they are designed for atom with low profile passive cooling. You won't be able to fit your celeron or i3 there. I purchased one two years ago with 4 bays, ended up bending my mobo an fucking my cpu trying to fit it in there. Anyway it was a cheap celeron low tdp, and the mobo was easy to replace, but it was not a good experience.
The u-nas cases are sexy for sure for a NAS... but make absolute sure you know its limitations before you order.
It an empty case for MiniITX so u can set what u want inside :
Here the spec...
.... And the best is you can have 4 or ... 8 bays!!!Oh la la!
Yep, that's the same manufacturer. I have mine in storage. The board gets mounted on the right side, in the second picture. Those dimensions are worthless. You need to account the space for mounting the board and the height of this one to the top of the cpu cooling fan

You already have one? What is your spec ?
I plan to use a very small mobo (17cmx17cm) with Celeron 1037u, depth 3 cm is enough.
As boot I will use a sata ssd 8Go wildly enogh for Omv OS.
I dont think need more power ...

Like I said, just make sure you understand their limitations... mainly the CPU cooler height. The other thing I don't particularly care for, is the Power Supply.. I'd have rather it been a more common size than 1U.
It's a nice case.. but like I said, make sure you understand it's limitations.
Also, I don't think that SSD has trim support.. so there's a good chance you'll nuke it fairly quickly.
Hi Guys,
I'm not sure how much space there is in this case for motherboard + CPU + Cooler, but I own a U-NAS 8 Bay and have seen people using the 4 bay model with an core i5 and this cooler Noctua NH-L9i, please check this pictures on a 8 Bay U-NAS (http://linustechtips.com/main/…-a-nas-build-by-shaqalac/) I think this should be possible on the 2 bay model.
Regards.
3 cm is fine I guess. I can't see the mb profile side section
For the PS If I recall correctly you need flex atx
Since I never got to test the case I am not sure about the quality of the SATA backplane
Yes the PSU must be a 1U flex ATX.
The SATA backplane seems to have good quality, I've been using this 8 bay case for around 4 months and have been following some other users that have the same case and until today no one has complains about it.
