OMV and data compression

Hi,

I have configured the OMV as an external log file backup point of an application (SIEM) using NFS (the connectivity test is OK).

after 10 days, I wanted to see the space used by log files stored, I found 2 GB. While the SIEM application sends much more than case

My Question is :

OMV compress automatically the data stored on a NFS share folder (in my case log files of my SIEM) ?

Thank you for the update.

So, OMV does not compress files located in shared location. I will re-check my SIEM's configuration
