I will report back after my test tomorrow with rsync and a different user
nobody doesn't belong to users. Rsync is kind of tricky, i haven't figured out yet how it works

Yeah and I think that messed it all up.
So either tomorrow it will all go well with using one of my user accounts in rsync ot if it messes all up again I will just copy it via windows myself....
ok back from work and I can still acccess my shares, edit and delete no matter if it's a private folder or public.
It must have something to with the user "nobody"
Set an incoming owner different from nobody, someone in users group. Also set the incoming group to users.
in the module extra option, you can set the incoming permissions for example
incoming chmod = Dug+rwx,Do+rx,Fug+rw,Fo+r,Fugo-x,
This will setup 775 for folders and 664 for files. That mean all users from users group can delete your files. So maybe you want to switch to 755 and 644.
Hi
yeah I copied the stuff with an incoming user from my own usergroup and now all is working fine (changed in the module extra option for each sync folder). But that was giving me a heck of a headache for whole week!
