You will need to enable the Mono Testing repo in OMV-Extras to be able to install it.

Couldn't get it from the list. So i went to the server and installed manually. The dependencies didn't resolve. Where is the nzbdrone binary located?

I had both mono repo selected when i installed it.
The binary (exe file) get installed to /opt/NzbDrone -
both mono repos? though there was only one. You mean testing downloaders and mono?
About the binary, I meant the package and which server is hosting it, to get it manually. I tried with apt-get but is not available. -
I added a mono testing repo to the latest omv-extras. If you check the testing repo, it automatically checks the mono repo.

Got it now.
I've changed the default master for develop version, it has torrent support for some rss sites and a few torrent clients. It has a very nice interface, i'll start testing some series -
It has a better UI then sickbeard but fewer indexer options. Adding series was a breeze as you can scan existing folders/files and it guesses what they are.

I can enable the testing repo, but now it seems I can't enable mono at all (either with testing repo enabled or not).
I tried an apt-clean but that didn't help.

There are now 2 mono repositories. Which version of Omv-extras you have installed?dpkg -l | grep omvextras

probably a simple fix but i dont see nzbdrone in download testing repo.........enabled mono repo...........using omv-extra 1.0.27 (dont know how to update to latest)

You need to look at the Update Manager section in OMV, There you will see a list of available updates.

there are so many things in there that i have no clue what they do.....i installed backports for my h97 board.......is it ok to update if it says debian stable at the bottom? some i know they are not for me like different firmwares
oops: i see now version 1.1.3 for my omv extras.....i was looking at version on the page when i load omv-extras.org and i click on that

It should be safe to install all the updates unless you have added a 3rd party repo yourself.

@jhmiller have you thought about how to handle the double updates? the app itself can self update (similar to sickbeard), also apt-get still pushes the deb package to upgrade. Maybe after install the package should be put on held?
I prefer the "Update Manager" route. Is it possible to disable notifying about updates in "Update Manager"?
Maybe we should just add the files to the plugin and not use the repo, then new updates will only show in the webui -
That's probably a better idea. Apt get stops the daemon and the other day I am pretty sure didn't bring it back. So I pushed a manual start
