Dude, I would totally get on ver. 1.7. It is so much better. If this is new install start with the 1.20 ISO do all you updates to 1.7. Then install OMV Extras and desired plugins.

You need to unplug that sata cables for the data drives before you install. Just have the system drive plugged in. After you install OMV 1.20 shutdown and then plug back in the data drives.
If it will not install with just the system drive burn an ISO of GParted to disk. Boot to Gparted and wipe the system disk. Then try.

Fixed!
I stopped the update to v1.0.2 and started a new installation. All went smooth and virtualbox is running as it should now..
Now with a new clean install I have tried to recover the missing/corrupt partition on sdc.
Using testdisk I was able to retrieve the partition table and rewrite it to the disk and... all my data is back!Feels good to be able to end the year on a good note
