The magical cristal ball is not working at the moment, so you have to look into your syslog messages to tell us more information we can use to analyse the problem. I can tell you that i can stream music from my iphone with iOS8 without problems.
Hmm... Syslog... It seems, that Shairport is not running.
And I receive email every time I push Play button: Does not exist Service shairport
And also I cant get iTunes/DAAP server to work properly - it connects to server, but shows no songs.

I've encounter similar problems with shairport once in a Desktop install (Crunchbag) with OMV on top. Pulseaudio was taken by the desktop user.
Do you have a desktop install there (gnome, xfce, etc)?
No, I installed directly from OMV webgui - official plugin.
Then check for errors at /var/log/shairport.err,
aybe the soundcard is disabled at bios?
what's your hw spec for motherboard?
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1018:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
FATAL: Alsa initialization failed: unable to open pcm device: No such file or d$
Seems like it's HW related...
Will check settings in bios. EDIT: checked bios - audio enabled.
Motherboard I have: http://www.gigabyte.com/produc…uct-page.aspx?pid=4461#ov
I think those are outputs, so it would depend where you connect the jack.
Other than that I have no idea, you could ask at the debian channel or debian forum. I know when you have desktop installed is easy to select
Did some other searching and found...
These are cards, not outputs:
root@openmediavault:~# aplay -l

Outputs at the end, hdmi, analog and optical on the last one probably. Is shairport running at the end?
subzero79 - thanks for helping.
Get this done, it's working now.
1) alsamixer was muted
2) edited alsa.conf
