If you want to use the openmediavault-iscsitarget plugin and the omv-extra.org backported kernel you will need to build your own iscsitarget package.
(since getting the one from jessie will probabbly break openmediavault because of required libc update etc)
If you try to install the plugin or upgrade to the backported kernel you will get the following build error.
