OMV crashes - kernel errors caused by transmission?

My OMV 2.1.6 is producing a new set of symptoms - rebooting randomly, transmission web interface freezing, not responding to a reboot/shutdown command even as root...

I'm starting to suspect transmission to be causing this, but the processes appear to be random (kswapd, flush)...

Attached is the Messages log, and the support info log.

Can anyone help me pinpoint the issue, please? It's not the RAM, I tested it for 12 hours and passed all tests 6 times.

Just updated to OMV 2.1.7 and the latest kernel, will continue monitoring

That's kernel error with backtrace, there is not much we can do here, I can recommend you to install the backports kernel. There is a button in omv-extras section.

We are not using the standard debian repo package for transmission, is a more up to date package

Well, the little bugger worked without a hitch since I posted the last update. Either it got word that I've complained and it is afraid of consequences or the updates actually fixed the issue.
