Shared Folders with no volumes?

    New messageboard so I thought I would throw it out again.. Any chance there will be a release allowing shared folders to be defined without a parent volume so an existing array configured via a method unsupported in the UI can be used? Currently building smab.conf, afpd.conf, etc. automatically at boot but can' t use the UI at all. Already donated once but will do it again as this comes online, I definitely want to put my money where my mouth is.

    In theory this could be done by a plugin, but it is not trivial because the backend code of this plugin MUST fill up the internal database with usable content that is required by the config scripts (e.g. for /etc/fstab).
