Unable to upload files / Unable to change permissions

Hi everyone

I have openmediavault working for the most part. I can view the shares on my Windows 10 laptop but when I go to upload or change anything after mapping them it tells me that I need permission to perform this action or something along those lines.

I have given my user full read/write access and gave them every group. I even tried going on the terminal and using chmod but nothing changed.

If I try re-mapping the shares and logging in then windows makes me log in over and over again for some reason.

When setting up a new share, I get
Failed to set file group to 'users' for '/media/0243-8F62/1TB'

Any ideas on why I can't upload and edit files?

Copied all my files off of the drive and formatted it as ext4, now it works.
