TV-Stick wird nicht erkannt

  • Just bought a new TV Stick Hauppauge PCTV triplestick, it seems to be initialized but if i try to w_scan in the vdr-Plugin i get

    NO USEABLE TERRESTRIAL CARD FOUND

  • Hi,
    I had the same problem with a Mygica T230 usb tuner. The problem is default kernel, and also backports kernel sometimes it's too old (<3.19) for some dvb devices to work.
    You can try compiling your own kernel (Kernel 4.x wanted, running OMV 1.19) with dvb support. It worked for me. Also don't enable vdr until you had done the scan.

  • Thank you, this seems not to be good news, don't know if is agood idea to wait for a new kernel ... will give your hint a try, maybe on a rainy weekend
