PLEX LOGIN No Longer working

Hi All,

I have had Plex working fine I have the latest update. However I can't see my Server in the Plex GUI but it does say a Server is unclaimed on my network. When i try to claim and login it just error saying there was a problem logging in to PLEX.

I have checked my PLEX account and all is ok. I have also installed PLEX on my Mac to check and no problems I can see this on the PLEX web GUI.

Any ideas why my Server is not eating me sign in. I know its not a port forwarding issue as it works fine on my Mac.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing PLEX to no avail

You should not have to sign in if you are on the same subnet. What do you have going on in your LAN?

I'm getting this issue also with a new install of Plex on a new OMV Same IP as my old system

Did you try clearing your browser cache? What is the ip of your OMV and what is the ip of your router?

No, I haven't tried the browser cache but i will now.

IP of OMV 192.168.0.112
IP of router 192.168.0.1
IP of DHCP server 192.168.0.33

Edit: Completed cleared everything from IE to make sure it wasn't a form issue also

I am a retard...

I know why it couldn't sign in.... It did not know where to look. My DNS settings were not set. as soon as i added it bam worked like a charm

What did you set your DNS server on your OMV??? Are you using a dynamic or static ip? You are on the same subnet. You should not have to login into the Plex UI.
