Some SSDs don't have temperature sensors. Why would you need to see an SSDs temp anyway?
OK, How I can check If my SSD has sensor? Google I tried..
Thank you!
If OMV isn't reporting a temperature in smart, it most likely doesn't have a temperature sensor.
Check if there is tenp in the smart section the full information of the disk. The regex might be failing to parse the value so it might need an update. It has happen before.
My SSD doesn't have sensor too.
Some people say that SSD SMART is disabled b/c it causes damage to the SSD.
It needs to add manually: http://askubuntu.com/questions…nsor-readout-with-hddtemp
https://evilshit.wordpress.com…and-read-the-temperature/http://askubuntu.com/questions…nsor-readout-with-hddtemp
To find out your sensor field, run the following commands, and replace X with your device:
hddtemp --debug /dev/sdX
smartctl -a /dev/sdX -d sat
My SSDs have temp sensors.
Did you add it manually?
Nope. Installed OMV and went to the smart tab.
For clarification, my SSD does show the temp on OMV, but not for the hddtemp command.
Why is that a problem? OMV doesn't use hddtemp. While they both get the reading from smart, hddtemp uses a database to know where to look for the temp reading. If your drive isn't in that database, it doesn't find a temp (as far as I know).
For this to work information of smart needs to be submitted at bugtracker.
root@NAS:~# hddtemp
-bash: hddtemp: příkaz nenalezen (command not exists)
Is not problem for this issue?
apt-get install hddtemp
root@NAS:~# hddtemp /dev/sda /dev/sdb
WARNING: Drive /dev/sda doesn't seem to have a temperature sensor.
WARNING: This doesn't mean it hasn't got one.

/dev/sda: INTEL SSDSC2CW120A3: no sensor
/dev/sdb: WD My Book 1170: S.M.A.R.T. not available
Hmm, strange..
My SSDs have temp sensors.
After upgrade to 3.0.25 I see temperature too, but still only 30°C is not bug? I your post (image) is too 30°C
