I don,t want to take over this thread but I think it has something to do with the problem. Do the updated plugin solve the noexec issues we had to remove from the fstab config? Can we put the noexec back again?
-
Yes, it does solve the noexec issue and you can put it back.
-
-
Okay, thank you
-
As per what v00Rii said.
- progress in a movie or an episode isn't saved (if you make a break on half of the movie and you start it again later, its starting from the beginning)
- a movie or an episode isn't marked as watched if you watched it full lengthThis appears to be an issue with "1.0.0.2261" and "Plex for Home Theater".
How do we downgrade to a working older version?
Thanks

It is working for me... The episodes say "unwatched" if they have not been seen and there is no unwatched if they have. Don't know what is wrong on your systems. The resume is working fine for me too.
-
-
Yes it's probably working for you - fine - but that doesn't mean it's working for every other system....
It's not necessarily that something is wrong with our systems.... maybe its a failure in this software-version only making mistakes on some systems - like every other bug... :oAs I said, before the update everything worked fine for me.
-
It may be a cache issue. It is not a plugin issue. I see people have had problems with resume in the past. Did you guys even search any posts on plex forums?
What clients are you using?
It was even forwarding me to my next episode.
From all the posts I'm seeing many people have had problems with resume at different times.
-
It's still working with the web-app (plex.tv -> launch).
I have the troubles with Plex for Home Theater (Windows).
Haven't tried with the Android app. -
-
I have been following the Plex thread on this.
https://forums.plex.tv/discuss…ow-far-im-into-an-episodePeople advise, wait for next version of PMS or use OpenPHT.
https://forums.plex.tv/discuss…972/release-openpht-1-6-2I will give OpenPHT a try tonight my self.
FYI: Plugin not the issue of course, but if OpenPHT doesn't work, I will need to roll back... The wife is currently manually marking TV Shows as watched so she knows where she is up to, GAH!
-
Can confirm OpenPHT works with watched and resume.
-
Does this problem only seem to be with Plex Home Theater???
-
-
Yes just, Plex home Theater.
Comes as no surprise i guess, PHT has been abandoned and was left to the public to deal with since 2015, hence OpenPHT.Wish Plex site would actually say that but noooooooo, oh well.
Thanks for responding, Tekkb, appreciate it.
