Proxy for OpenMediaVault

    Is it possible to set up a proxy server to run on my OMV installation? I do not know if there is a plugin, but if there is not, could some one tell me how to do it the "real way" by means of the Linux Terminal? I have done some research on the subject, but do not want to dive in without first asking about it here.

    OMV 3.0 has included support for proxies. It does this by using environmental variables. So you can do the same in OMV2 in terminal with http_proxy or https_proxy.


    Be aware that this variables are for apt-get, as you know proxies are defined by/per applications, some of them respect the global env variable others need to set the proxy explicitly.
