From what I know it won't is on the kill list for 3.0. Unless someone different from the original developer wants to port it.
Just installed Erasmus on my new server (Proliant ML10v2), that should replace my Microserver N54L in the future.
In my current Stone Burner installation on the Microserver i often use the RemoteShares-plugin. That is a great tool, so i were very very very very happy , if it would be ported for Erasmus .
If i had the ability, i would do that for the community, but unfortunately i'm not a programmer...
So: Dear (ryeco)Aaron, please please, please, please...
Best regards
Jan
I did not port the remoteshare plugin but I did create a completely new plugin called remotemount. For the time being, it can mount samba/cifs and nfs shares.

That is nearly exactly what i wished to read from you - thank you very much !!
For the time beeing, Samba/CIFS is great for me .
Will i find remotemount in the beta-repo (that i haven`t activated yet), or do i have installed an outdated omv-extras?
Best regards

Is there a way to mounf nfs shares in a folder I can specify?
Not with the current plugin implementation. You can use a symlink or directly edit fstab out of the omv tags to add your nfs mount pointing to a folder.
