Is my mobo suitable for an upgrade ?.

Hi all, This is my first thread of the new year, so I would like to wish all a happy and prosperous new year.Now on to my question. I have a gigabyte GA-350N mobo (dual core 1.6GHz A45 FCH chipset, 4GB 1333MHz ram, 60 GB ssd, 2x 3TB WD Red hdd,s,pico 80 watt psu, cooler master 110 case) running a raid 1 set up and is connected throughout my home using screened cat6 cable. I only use it for supplying my 3 computers with music, films, documents, photos etc, I do not transcode any films or use other server plug ins. The only plug ins I use are ( ups ), (daap ),(autoshutdown).It is just a basic set up but it suits me fine. Would this set up be able to run the omv 3.0 version or should I stick to omv 2.0 ?, as I was wondering how long omv 2.0 will be supported now that omv 3 is up and running.
