I'd like some assistance please with CrashPlan docker plugin (jrcs/crashplan repo).
I am really puzzled on how to set this up.
Basically I want the ability to backup from my mac to my omv server.
I'm not sure what my host and container paths should be (i thought that they shouldnt be within the docker volume).
I have tried following this page but not getting anywhere.
Is there some sort of guide for setting this up in OMV for a simple mind like mine?

why not use omv-nettalk to backup from your mac to omv server
I didnt test since dont use mac
but I heard nettalk support apple time machine
At the moment I'm using chronosync on my mac to backup to omv. I didn't mention though that I have several windows pc's at work that I wanted to use crashplan with.

so do you want to backup from all other computer (including mac,windows) using crashplan
and want to download those backup from crashplan to omv?
that docker plugin is for uploading, not for downloading
Yes, I wanted to back up data from my mac and windows pic using crashplan to omv (I thought I could setup omv as a "friend")

no need to use OMV in this case
just use official crashplan client..
as I said that docker plugin is for uploading(upload backup), not for downloading
that means it is for backuping OMV system
I can think following 2 options
1. use crashplan to backup and forget OMV, don't need
or
2. drop idea using crash plan, use samba & time machine to backup from windows and mac to OMV
Ok I think I will look at option 2.

I use duplicati on my windows pcs to backup to an external drive. Perhaps I can tie this in some how.
