No access to OMV via ssh or gui, only console. Now I'm lost...

Hi,
Recently I've noticed that I can't access OMV via the GUI or SSH. SSH gives med software caused abort and GUI gives me wrong password. The only thing I can imagine that has happened is a power loss. All shares and everything else that I've setup works as before though.

So I have now connected a monitor and keyboard to the server but I can't figure how to move forward. I would say that fixing the SSH would be the first step, then I could run omv-firstaid to fix the gui password. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: Can't login to console with root ("login incorrect") only my user.

Sadly I didn't mention that I tried this already, gives me the below

$ omv-firstaid
-dash: 1: omv-firstaid: not found

I've attached a picture of the actual screen.

I now, somehow :), have managed to regain ssh access. I managed to boot into grub recovery, here my root password worked. In this state I was able to run omv-firstaid but changing the web gui password failed.

On some screen during boot I saw something about permission on the SSH keys and they can't be 0777 or something like this. I google it and did a recreation. Didn't help.

Rebooted again and did a omv-update and a reboot, after this I could login via SSH to my OMV agian. First thing I ran omv-firstaid and could successfully change the web gui password. But I still can't login with the newly set password.

I don't think a sudden power loss is the issue here, I'm guessing it's my noob skills with file permissions. I think my next step will be to do a fresh install with OMV 3.
