Hi,
I want to make an in place upgrade from 2.2.14 to 3.x and for that, I have removed all plugins before starting the upgrade process. This is what was left:
$ dpkg -l | grep openmediavault
ii openmediavault 2.2.14 all Open network attached storage solution
ii openmediavault-keyring 0.4 all GnuPG archive keys of the OpenMediaVault archive
After plugins removal and system restart, I notice that some plugins entries were still dangling in the WebGUI, specially for DNLA and Static Routes. I cleared the browser cache and those elements have disappeared.
Next, I've run omv-release-upgrade on SSH and it appears a menu to confirm that I wanted to upgrade the system to version 3.0 (Erasmus), followed short time afterwards by another menu message informing that the upgrade was completed successfully. After reboot everything is the same.
Here are the beginning and the end of the omv-release-upgrade command:
$ omv-release-upgrade

I know that most of the suggestions in the forum points to make a fresh install but I don't want to consider it without trying the in place upgrade first.
Can someone guide me some directions?
Thx
