OMV 4.1.3 Problems after installation

Hi guys!
I have done a fresh install of omv 4.1.3 and when I try to go to different places on the menu I get popups like this one...

I keep getting different messages with the /tmp/bgstatus error
What can be causing this?

Well, I have created my Raid via PuTTy but I still get errors when going to different items in the menu....so this is something to do with the new version of OMV...

Yeah, seems a few people are having similar issues. Went back to 3 tonight and had zero issues so 4 is messed up at least for some people

That is because OMV 3.x uses php 5 versus OMV 4.x using php 7.

So are these software bugs that need to be ironed out or is there a problem with php7 and some hardware?

Well, because of other problems with Samba shares...I am not using OMV 4 at the moment....doesn't seem to be a satisfactory way to get all things working...

They seem to be a bug in php7 (hardware independent) but we have no idea what the bug is. It is difficult to replicate on purpose.

Thank you for the reply. I gave OMV 4 a try a few months back and it mostly has been working but I can wait a bit longer before giving it another go.

Fixed with openmediavault 4.1.6.

Yes but 4.1.6 isos aren't available, just an omv-upgrade?

Yes, just update in the Updates tab. That should be the first thing you do after installing. The version on the ISO is usually of little importance other than length of time to update.
