I/O Error in my SD card

  • Hi everyone,
with my new SD card I always had some problem when waking up my NAS from sleep. I looked with
    journalctl -bAnd I found this:

How can I check my SD card health and eventually correct it? Otherwise I will send it back since it's new and I'll buy an SSD :(

  • smartctl shows you more.

This item is nearly dead. Did you use flashmemory-plugin? How long did it run so far?

  • yes, I'm using it, but I had problems since the first day, so maybe it's the SD card that was already bad :/

I'm going to give it back to amazon soon.

Do you think it's safe to just copy my partition into a new hdd with something like clonezilla? Should I check/repair the file system first? I would gladly avoid to reconfigure everything :(
