how to perform a hardware migration

  • Hello everyone,

I have a little question about how to perform a hardware migration.

Currently I have the latest version of OMV 4.x running on an RPi3 (without +) with Raspbian Stretch (also in its latest version).

Yesterday I got my brand new Rock64 (with an eMMC memory) in which I installed Armbian Stretch (as you can see I prefer Debian to Ubuntu :D ) and I will also install the latest version of OMV 4.

Now my question is, to avoid having to configure everything from the beginning, could I copy the configuration file from RPi to Rock64? Or there's a more correct method of doing it.

Thank you so much in advance :)

No. There is no easy way to do this migration.
