Change Port in Docker file? (NextCloud)

very simple, you need to use desired port outside the docker and 80 inside the docker like is explained in all linuxserver guides in the PARAMETERS section:

eg: in your case - p 85:80 so you can connect to nextcloud using port 85 from outside the docker and connect to port 80 inside the docker like nextcloud expect.

PUID has nothing to do with networking.

You will have to set the network mode to Bridge in order to expose the custom port settings.

What part of what I said about changing the network mode do you not understand?

Sorry to jump on a old thread.

Is there a way to set the port when the container is host mode so that Nextcloud that uses port 80 by default, doesn't clash with OMV's web GUI running on the same port? From what I understand using host mode exposes itself through the host computer.

The other alternative I've read is to run the container in bridge mode and bind MySQL to all IP addresses using 0.0.0.0. Using bridge mode will allow me to use port 80 by default for Nextcloud and map it to an external port like 8888. The parameter for docker would look something like this

-p 8888:80

Which one would you suggest?

I can access Nextcloud via my local IP address e.g. 192.168.1.123:8888 but I can't connect to the MySQL database that's running on the Debian OS which OMV is based off.

Nextcloud is just giving me connection refused.
