NEW RELEASE v2.2.0
- Added new theme "Dracula v1"
- Changed the js add logo method to move logo from the header right side to side menu bottom (see screenshot below).
Please post or send on private screenshots with UI bugs you find in this new theme.
I stopped using the default triton scss file and started targeting styles one by one, this allows me to customise the theme better, but need your support with testing and finding bugs.If you want the Dracula logo you can use this link https://i.ibb.co/vXk1SG2/logo.png , just paste it in the set logo option in omv-theme
// edit
P.S. This theme was not optimised for mobile at all, so if you use mobile, just send some printscreens with the possible issues, I already know one which is the tiles and I will fix that with the next release

Great work! That skin is really great! I'll test as soon as I get home!

Unfortunately this can not be fixed for IE11, 3rd party icons are PNG files and icon is black, for me to make the icons white I use css filter (see: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/filter) this is not supported by IE11 or lower IE browsers.
-
No worries, I don't really use IE anyway, but thought I would bring it to your attention.
-
-
I never thought that there was people willingly using IE. I get Edge, is a good browser, but IE is just terrible.

So a small status update and a preview for what I am planning with this tool (fun to build it) so the next step is to make a ui plugin which I finally managed to do, but it is in the early stages and can only change the themes only, for the moment.
Source code: https://github.com/virgil-av/openmediavault-theme
Deb file download: missing at the moment
1. Download above .deb file
2. Go to the plugin tab in OMV's web interface.
3. Upload the file.
4. Select the newly uploaded plugin openmediavault-theme
5. Click on Install. Refresh page.Requirements:
1. OMV 4.x
2. omv-theme tool to be installed (will make this automated but for now you need to install it manually)This plugin is using the scripts from omv-theme so basically you can either use the tool from the terminal or from the web interface.
I am still waiting for bug reports on the Dracula theme, as I will will rewrite the other themes too, I rushed them and I see a lack of quality in my work, but it is hard to test everything so if you guys see any problem report it so I can fix it.
Now that I finally managed to understand how to execute shell commands I will make the web interface have the same options as the terminal tool will keep you guys posted.
PS ignore the input labels text, I kinda copied the select input from the wol plugin, EXTjs is just a crazy way of building something... either way ignore strange text :)) and don't forget it is just a preview.

Nothing more to say!
Thank you so much! Regards Hoppel

as an happy user, I think that once you've finished this work it should be integrated in OMV. I love both christmas and Dracula's skins and I think that with them the interface looks a lot better!

Nice. I’ve been enjoying your theme changing tool and look forward to testing the plugin. I’ll install the deb after work today. Lmk if there’s anything specific you’d like tested or feedback on, I’d be happy to help. Appreciate all of your time and hard work you’ve put into this.
Edit: download link not working.
Edit 2: just fired up the Dracula theme from the theme changer tool and it's super cool. Props. -
The plugin has been release in the wild.
Follow this thread to find it: OMV-Theme plugin, theme changer and UI customisationNEW RELEASE 3.0.0

Does this plugin works with OMV 5?

No. I tried it. No, but this still does:
And this, which is just a variation of the above:
With just a little knowledge of css you could customize your colors to suit.
