[SOLVED] 0.5 upgrade - white/blank screen

    Mat-Moo has updated, can't access the WebUI, the update-clean-script helped, but after login a white screen appears [/Edit]


    Sorry had to go out, run the script, can login but then just get a white screen with nothing??
    Done a LS of the two paths and both are blank.

    Log in via SSH on your OMV-machine and execute this two lines:

    wget http://filebin.ca/sj58haOE2s8 -O omv-0.5-upgrade-cleaning_v0.7.5.sh
chmod +x omv-0.5-upgrade-cleaning_v0.7.5.sh


    after that, run the script with

    ./omv-0.5-upgrade-cleaning_v0.7.5.sh


    and follow the instructions on the screen

    Solo0815 : As I performed the upgrade before seeing any notes about cleaning off files etc. I failed to make alist of what I had installed (hoped it would be easy). I've got plex installed but nothing else from memory (midnight commander but don't see that being an issue)

    TA - Ok the issue is that the file path is OMV (caps) not omv so I guess it's a rouge plugin file still? Are any setting stored in the /var/www folder at all? Can anyone zip up the /var/www folder so I can rename and replace mine? Would that work?

    I've read the most of the 0.5 update forum posts, but didn't see my issue mentioned. I upgraded via apt last night from latest 0.4 to 0.5 following the release notes instructions:

    Code
    apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
omv-release-upgrade


    There were no apparently problems (at least indicated) during upgrade.


    Upon reboot, I attempted to login and it seemed to work fine (got the new login screen, I entered id and password, and it accepted it) ... but the gui/browser is blank.

    I've tried clearing the browser cache and done the same on multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).


    I tried running the cleaning script here: http://forums.openmediavault.o…wtopic.php?p=13859#p13859 ... and re-running the install sequence. However, the release-upgrade doesn't seem to exist now.

    Note that all else seems to be working. I can access my samba shares, I have Crashplan headless running and it is working fine, etc. It seems to be just the webgui.
