OMV in container under Debian10

  • Hi all,

I'm trying to install OMV to Docker under my Debian 10. What is the best practice? I have Debian installed on /dev/sdB and i want "connect" /dev/sdA for OMV. Is there only one way, how-to install omv to container (docker run --name omv debian:scratch and install OMV under this Debian image)?

  • There's been talk of this before, but it's really outside the scope of this forum.

I'd Google "How to build a docker container and image"... there's a lot of links

Air Conditioners are a lot like PC's... They work great until you open Windows.

  • OMV needs devices to work and these aren't really available in containers. So, you are better to install OMV in a VM.
