They are pretty new and I couldn't find any information regarding this. The Software provided is just pure nonsens...

Just do a little Google search - if Debian runs on that device, OMV also does. OMV is just a piece of software

If you can install Debian on it, then you might be able to. A quick look shows it might be hackable but I doubt it is possible to get a clean install of Debian on it.
