Phpmyadmin Docker issue

  • Hello dear forum community,

i want to set up nextcloud on my omv system. I installed mariadb and phpmyadmin as docker.

    Mariadb runs without any problems.

As soon as I start phpmyadmin in bridge mode and set 80-> 82 as port and enter the following datasets: PMA_HOST 192.168.178.xx PMA_PORT 3306 (from Mariadb) and start phpmyadmin I cannot get to the page.

    Phpmyadmin is called 192.168.178.xx:82.

Page is not displayed Error: Connection failed
Firefox cannot connect to the server at 192.168.178.62.

Status: Restarting (1) 41 seconds ago

Do I have to do anything else?

    Hope someone can help me.

    I have a Raspberry PI 4 with 4GB memory.

  • I think by default the nextcloud image from linuxserver only exposes port 443. You did not forward this port in your docker configuration. So if you are going by tdl guide you forward port 443 to 444 and then can access nextcloud on https://server_ip:444
And also please set up gid/uid settings for the container. Otherwise you will run into permission problems sooner or later.
