Problem Minidlna

    I've seen that before. I think it has something to do with the init script. Not that it fixes the problem but why not use Plex instead of minidlna?

  • Do you know how to check to see if minidlna is in your run levels???

    apt-get install sysv-rc-conf

    After that is installed you run with this command:

    sysv-rc-conf

    Once it starts use down arrow and go to minidlna. Tell me if which columns have checks in it, or if there are none. Then quite by pressing q.

  • Yes, it did work fine. I did the updates available in the Update Manager in Gui, and after reboot minidlna didn't wok. I don't remember what were the updates, but I'm sure that no minidlna update.

  • Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling? You will have to redo shares but I would do this.

    service minidlna stop
    apt-get --purge remove minidlna
    apt-get remove openmediavault-minidlna

    Then go to web-gui and try reinstalling in plugins section.

    I saw this issue back when I ran minidlna by itself of not starting at boot. I haven't seen it lately. I would've guessed sysv-rc-conf would've fixed it. What is the output of:

    dpkg -l | grep minidlna

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

    Well, that isn't the problem either. How about:

    cat /var/log/minidlna.log
