MiniDLNA transcoding

I would like to use mini DLNA. It works fine with MP3 files. I read that is can transcode audio files.
I tried playing back FLAC files but this does not work. Does anybody now how I can get this to run?

I found another version based on MiniDLNA named readymedia. As I am not linux/debian savvy at all would this be an option:

plex plugin seems to installs ok in plugins menu. but in services I get this error message.
