If you enable backports, you should get 208 - https://packages.debian.org/se…on=names&keywords=cockpit

The Release file for the Debian backports must be wrong. I had the same issue. We will have to wait for it to be updated. Otherwise, you can download and install the packages manually from http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/cockpit/

Thank you That resolved my problem where i couldn't add Networks in virtual machines
i think the version number shown on the OMV extras page is incorrect. for me it shows 188-1, but the about page in cockpit shows 215.

Yes you're right.
Mine shows 213-1~bpo10+1 in the OMV-Extras and Version 215 in About Cockpit.
apt list cockpit -a

That isn't an omv-extras page. That is the debian repo page. And as I mentioned above, the Debian Release file must need to be updated. Nothing I can do to fix this. If you want a newer cockpit version, you will need to download the .deb manually and install them.
ryecoaaron no, it's not about installing the newer version. it's about the newer version being installed (not sure how as i never did anything besides a generic apt upgrade) via some string way, while debian repo shows 188

buster is 188 and buster-backports is 213 (according to https://packages.debian.org/se…on=names&keywords=cockpit). If you have backports enabled (check settings tab of omv-extras if you don't know), then omv-extras will install the version from backports. As for cockpit reporting version 215 instead of 213, I don't know.
