SOA Spam in Upstream DNS Server

    Hello,


    try to describe it in english:


    I have a pihole running and every dns request is served by the pi. my freshly installed OMV5 extremely spams the Pihole with SOA Records.


    in the syslog are no errors about dns requests or something.


    any ideas how to find out why omv is spaming my upstream dns?

    A google search will give some information, but one option is not to use pi-hole on omv but to use a public dns server e.g. 1.1.1.1

    OMV 6x amd64 running on an HP N54L Microserver

    a google search has hotlinked me to this post. i gave the server 1.1.1.1 as dns record, SOA is permanently spamming my dns server from my network.
