Hi folks, i've installed openmediavault on a PC at home with a SSD of 480Go.
However, i meet a problem to create a shared folder on the /dev/sda1.
I've found where to go on the web interface but the hard disk is not listed so i wondered if someone could help me ?
I'm searching since a good hour and i don't find as if it's not possible.
Or maybe should i install the system on a smallest partition and let 350Go free on an other one with nothing on to be used as a storage place ?

You can also install OMV on a small thumb drive (8GB/16GB) and use the full SSD for data. Or as you said reduce the size of the OS partition, create a new one, add a filesystem and mount it.
