cannot boot from new kernel

after updating yesterday ti new kernel 5.6.0, i cannot boot to my server. The only working option is to use my old kernel 5.4.0.

Does anyone has any idea why this is happening?

Sorry for my late reply. See below the grub image from my system.

When i boot from kernel 5.6.0, running omv-firstaid i have the following screen with network interfaces:

and the initial screen is the following:

The ip address i use to log is: 192.168.1.8, which is not shown in the above photo.

When i boot from kerner 5.4.0 and run omv-firstaid, i receive the following screen:

as you can see, the above highlighted is the network interface the correct one and the image below after booting:

can you give me any advise as to why this is happening?
