drive removed while NAS off line / missing file system

    My file system show some missing file system from removed drive.
    is there a way to remove them from the list . I tryed to delete them , it did not work.. some dont show the delete option.

    You have to remove all shares in any services that reference the drive, remove all shared folders that reference any directories on the drive, unmount the filesystem, and delete the filesystem.


    Then you can shut the machine down and physically remove the drive.

    I see,
    in case of disaster/drive failure , you can not do that..

    in my case I think I found a way around it.. I relabel one drive with the name of the missing drive..
    it popped not longer as missing, then cleanly unmount/removed it.
