Error in tab (tab) OMV 5.5.11-1 and 5.5.12-1 usul kernel

  • Hey Guys.

First, sorry for "my English". I am Brazilian and speak only Portuguese, at the moment.

I'm starting with OMV. I installed it the first time three months ago on an average server, which works well.

I started to build a small and low consumption homemade server, with raspberry pi 4 4gb.

I'm having some problems, but first I need to resolve this:

    I recorded:

Hardware used: Rasp pi 3+ and Rasp pi 4 4gb.

Error in tab (tab) OMV 5.5.11-1 and 5.5.12-1 usul kernel

When I click on OMV-Extras, the kernel tab appears and disappears instantly.

If I select OMV-Extras with tab and I click with the keyboard space bar, many times, and I click with the mouse on the Kernel tab, I can access it.

    Is it a bug?

I've already installed it three times.

    Gratefull:)
    Thanks

This is not a bug. The kernel tab is being hidden on arm systems on purpose because there is nothing in that tab that works with arm systems. Why do you think you need the tab? The reason you can see it for a split second is because an rpc call has to be made to determine if the kernel tab should be shown.

ryecoaaron What about hiding the tab by default and make it visible when the RPC succeeds? This will prevent such user irritations.

    I will look into that.

votdev is this the easiest way to hide a tab? It works but not sure if there will still be a blink on slow systems. https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…33ff55e90d76427a44a6bc206

    Thank you for the answer.

I really don't have any deep knowledge about OMV and platforms.

Forgive my ignorance on the subject.

    I'm studying more.

    Gratitude.
